ABOUT THE CREATOR, HISTORY, AND MISSION OF FUJIMAX MASSAGE CHAIR

The Fujimax Massage Chair was created by Taku Ino, the founder of TK World. Ino, a professional chiropractor, began designing and building massage chairs after emigrating from Japan to the United States in 2005. During the early years of the massage chair industry, Ino focused primarily on his chiropractic practice. He observed subtle differences in the biomechanical and neuromuscular issues that his American and Asian patients faced. While Westerners generally had larger frames, they often experienced less stiffness in their shoulders compared to Asians, who tended to struggle more with issues in the lower spine and joints.
As Ino worked with his patients, he frequently received inquiries about the effectiveness of massage chairs, which were becoming increasingly popular at the time. To address these questions, he researched how massage chairs could benefit his patients and complement his chiropractic work. This marked the beginning of his journey toward significant advancements in massage chair design.
Ino evaluated the functionality and benefits of leading massage chair brands. Although many advanced models provided moderate, temporary relief from aches and pains, earning his qualified approval, none comprehensively treated the entire body or offered genuine therapeutic value. He noticed a significant gap in chairs addressing the lower back and hips, where Americans are particularly vulnerable to imbalances and misalignments.
During his investigations, Ino visited factories that produced high-quality chairs and recognized that he could create something far superior. Collaborating with engineers and programmers, he developed a massage chair tailored to the needs of Western users. It delivered a deep massage that included essential stretching and relaxation for the lower back and hips. This innovation gave rise to the first generation of Fujimax massage chairs.
The evolution of the massage chair continues to this day. Competing brands have recently incorporated many early Fujimax designs into their products. However, Fujimax remains committed to innovation, continuously building upon its advancements to ensure maximum relaxation and pleasure for users while never sacrificing the ultimate goal of improving their neuromuscular health.
